Massimo Fortuzzi
General Manager of IDeA Sim, since October 2009. From 2006 to 2009 he was COO of Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management in Italy. He was in charge of the Private Bankers network, operating in Italy.
From 2002 to 2006, Chief Executive Officer of Antonveneta ABN Amro Bank, Antonveneta Group Private Bank. He managed the whole bank, which included 180 employees distributed in four branches operating in Milan, Turin, Bologna and Rome. The bank also controlled a locally based AM company, of which Fortuzzi was Chairman, and an Irish AM company based in Dublin, where Fortuzzi was a board member.
He worked in the Deutsche Bank group for seven years, from 1995 to 2002. He first acted as Finanza e Futuro SGR CIO, and then took a similar position at Deutsche Asset Management SGR in 1999.
He was Deutsche Asset Management Sgr Italy CEO from February 2001, until September 2002.
From 1991 to 1995 he was CIO of GES.FI.MI. Spa (Gruppo Banca Popolare di Milano) and previously Private Banking Department Manager of Crédit Commercial de France. M. Fortuzzi began his career at Banco di Roma in 1985 and was an equity fund manager at Prime Gest SpA from 1986 to 1988.
M. Fortuzzi graduated with honors in Political Science from the University of Turin, he was a member of the Board of AIPB (Italian Association of Private Banking) and he was previously a member of the Board of Assogestioni (Italian AM companies association). He was also a member at the board of the Italian metal workers’ pension fund – Cometa (where he was representative for the Italian Mechanical Entrepreneurs Association). He has been a lecturer at the SDA Bocconi University from 1994 to 1996.
Tommaso Cucchetti
Advisor, Financial Analyst of IDeA Sim, from March 2011. He comes from Merrill Lynch where he worked for four years in the discretionary team, he was in charge of portfolio management, risk analysis and performance monitoring. He previously worked for one year in Vontobel Europe S.A. Milan Branch within the Private Wealth Management Division. He began his career in the corporate finance department of Heinz Italy. He holds a BA degree in Economy of Institutions and Financial Markets at Bocconi University.
Giovanni Negri
Advisor Financial Analyst of IDeA Sim, from April 2010. Previously he was Financial Analyst at Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management from January 2008. He previously worked as a Corporate Credit Analyst at Mediobanca SpA, Milan.
Giovanni holds an MSc in Finance at Bocconi University and graduated Summa cum Laude in Business Administration from the Catholic University, Milan.
